Pixel and Cocoa were born on April 26, 2001 in a nest of five kittens. We adopted them when they were 10 1/2 weeks old. The graph below is from that moment on.

At this moment they grow very fast: Pixel sometimes gains 20% each week. She converts about 50% of her kitten-food into bodyweight!
Lucky for her she's not on a diet.
We presume that Pixel eats some of the quotum of Cocoa.

Cocoa fell from the second floor window unto the street below. She broke both bones in her front right lower-leg :-(
She bravely manages herself and hops along.

A strange dip. Their growing had already slowed, which is normal after such a prolonged period of growth, but reducing weight? That's new for us. Can anyone offer parental advice?

Our little girls are changing into grown women. First Cocoa goes in heat and less than a day later joins Pixel her. Both are crawling, belly to the floor, tail to the side. Luckily they show little sign of their part siamese origin, they only rarely yowl. And that most of the time when they visit our neighbour. Our neighbour had some toms over a year or so ago, and they probably sense this.
Cocoa's weight is dropping again, they both have a reduced appetite, and we hope thi will change when they feel normal again. Or else our litlle lady will have to visit the doctor again...
Sorry for all you non-metricists out there: an ounce is about 27 gram.
